I Loved A Lass – TB/TTB/TTBB
Using a poem by George Wither (1588-1667), Donald Bailey, Professor of Music at Baylor University, has created the perfect piece for male chorus. Harking to a folk song lament, the singers share the sad tale of losing the woman they love. But, having learned their lesson and despite their mistrust of all women, they are always reassured of carrying on as they sing ''falero, lero, loo.'' Excellent for high school, college and community men's choruses.
