About Pensacola Children’s Chorus

Since its establishment in 1990, the Pensacola Children’s Chorus (PCC) has been dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through music and the performing arts. Founded under the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, the Pensacola Children’s Chorus became an independent organization in 1994, expanding to include 9 resident ensembles, 5 neighborhood programs, and 2 regional choirs. Led by artistic director Alex Gartner since 2016, Pensacola Children’s Chorus hosts a diverse array of performances and educational initiatives, reaching over 25,000 individuals annually. With a focus on instilling core values and fostering personal growth, PCC continues to empower young singers and transform communities through music.

“The mission of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus is to foster the personal and social growth of its singers and engage the community through inspirational musical experiences.”
