Description
The title means ”Oh, God, the Sun is High.” It is a text contemplating death, which is perceived metaphorically as the setting of the sun. This world is considered temporary whereas the other world will be forever. Musically, it is a calm, meditative rendering, almost mystical. The Latvian modality permeates the song with an eloquent tension emerging from the pedal point moments against the primary theme.
